Simba desperaterly clung to the rocky wall, pictures flying throught his head of his father who was once in the same situation. He clawed the wall agian, trying to get a better grip. He slinted and was about to fall toward a certain death. He closed his eyes and shouted out in pain as claws pierced his paws, pressing them toward the wall. He breathed heavily and uncontrollably throught his teeth. He opened his eyes, only to find the most unexpectable person. Kovu, he thought. He would not have been surprised if it was that little rat who had pierced his paws. Simba gasped for air. It was Kiara. Her eyes filled up with tears, they were hard to see in the buffeting rain. "Father.." she said, her voice being very shaky. "Kiara! I am so glad you came. Please, pull me up!" Simba yelled over the roaring rain, still not realizing what Kiara was trying to do.. "No, father. I can't. Kovu has told me everything." Simba stopped beathing for a moment. "Kiara, tell me. What did he say?" Kiara frowned. "He told me everything! About how you killed Mufasa!" Simbas face stiffed. Kovu had brainwashed her. "Don't listen to him, Kiara! He just wants to take the throne!" Kiara roared and snapped after Simbas face. "Kovu would never lie to me! He loves me!" Simba bit his lip. "You are just like him." He said in a dark tone. "..Like who?" Kiara said loudly. "Scar.." Kiara let out another roar as she let go of her fathers paws. She watched him fall down to the wave of wildebeests, clawing the air and roaring out in fear. Just like Mufasa. In the distance, Kovu was watching. "I did it, mother.".. He mumbled. He let out a laugh as the lighting chased across the grey sky.
wow! Very emotional! I never would have thought of something like that but oddly enough, I could see it happening! I didn't really care that much for Simba in the second movie anyway. Great job with the detail and coloring!
